ADDY Award Winning SESAC Magazine
The Opportunity: A simple company newsletter just wouldn't have made sense for "the most innovative and fastest-growing performing rights organization in the U.S."
`SESAC wanted to publish a quarterly magazine aimed at celebrating its members' successes (and shining a light on newcomers), but the company needed to outsource design and production.
The idea was for SESAC to provide editorial content, ads and images, while LTC honed the magazine design, created layouts appropriate to each artist and prepared the magazine for publishing.
The LTC Approach: We have worked with SESAC to constantly improve the magazine's format and quality, aligning its design with subscription music magazines you might buy off the rack. For example, the magazine always features a photo of a successful SESAC songwriter on the cover and has a mix of standard layouts and special sections.
The Results: Every quarter, SESAC distributes "SESAC Magazine" to more than 20,000 members and affiliates.
The Awards: Our work on the 2010 magazines has earned two Gold ADDY® Awards, recognizing creative excellence in advertising within the local (Nashville) and 7th district competition.
